|
|
After installing a new machine(Ati 9600Pro-AMD2600-A7N8X-Deluxe) with my old
monitor (Philips 107E) . I arranged the monitor to keep on 85 Hz.
But after all restarts the monitor keeps going back to 60 Hz. This makes my
eyes very tired and gives some headache time to time.
Is there a way to fix that Hz rate ?
--Thanks in advance. |

Make sure you have the newest ATI drivers. Open (right click) on the ATI
icon in the system tray and click "settings". Open the Display tab, click
Monitor, and change the setting for "Refresh Rate Override". Set your
refresh rates where you want them, or use the DPP if your monitor supports
it.
Good luck,

Make sure you have the right "driver" (.INF spec file) for your monitor. |
That's what tells Windows what frequencies it can handle. |
