I'm kind of new at this and I can't seem to make this work.

I have an onboard RAID controller (Asus A8N-SLI MBo with Nforce 4 SLI RAID controller). I have two 500 GB identical drives and want to set up a Raid 1 configuration. Using Windows XP OS.

I boot up and go into the BIOS and enable the raid. I set up the RAID configuration using the Mbo utility using the F10 option. When the system boots now, the BIOS only sees my orginal system drive but not the two other drives. During the DOS startup screens, it shows that the RAID configuration is heathy.

My question is that when I go into the WINDOWS hard disk management stuff, I still see the two drives as separate drives. Also when I use the My Computer I still see them listed as two separate drives. Aren't they supposed to show as only one drive? Did I not do something or did I do it in the wrong order?
