Ive recently had a few probs with my pc and it wont boot (even into safe mode) giving me the following error message windows coudl not boot because the following file is missing or corrupt \windows\system32\config\system
I understand that this is a corrupt registry hive and you should be able to use the windows recovery console to fix this.. however i have tried to no avail. Ive also been advised that i can do a repair install of windows however i dont seem to have this option available.. not sure if this is because im using the OEM version of windows xp home edition...
any help would be much appreciated.
