Hi-
Got a SAVIN (Really Ricoh I think) network type "30/30"
PRINTER/SCANNER which uses Desktop Binder ...etc...but I
and can't get SCAN TO FOLDER working. The config can be set up
using the RICOH Aficio MP 2510 Web Image Monitor. I added a group
and a few users to the address book, and am not using any kind
of authentication. SMB is enabled and each of the 3 pc's (windows 2k)
that will be using the scanner has a shared folder named IMAGES defined at
C:\IMAGES.
Thru the web monitor, the computer names and paths have been added as
\\COMP-NAME/IMAGES and I don't know if anything else is needed.
So when you select a user then press the START button, it scans the
pages but then the status shows as "WAITING" and eventually it times out
saying it can't connect with the PC. I'm missing something but don't
know what. Anyone got one of these?
