I have a new Dell E520 which only has SATA connections on the
motherboard. I have two IDE drives (a DVD drive and a hard drive) that
I wish to connect up.

I have bought IDE to SATA adaptors (and the power convertors too), and
have connected them all up as per instructions but the PC then fails
to boot.

The screen locks at the "Press F2 to enter BIOS setup" screen, and
will not allow me to go into to the BIOS screen.

Has anyone got an IDE drive working with these type of adaptors (small
circuit board that plugs into IDe connector on drive), and how did you
do it?

Thanks in advance, Toby.
