I can't seem to find information on the motherboard in the Dell 520.
The user manual is not helpful. The unintelligible Indian Tech Support
people are useless. Customer Service doesn't know.

Can anyone post the great secret?

For the service manual for the 520:
http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/dime520/en/SM_EN/techov.htm#wp1053345

Go to www.Dell.com, under Desktops Support place your Service tag number in
the lookup wizard, and it will give the original configuration of your PC.

It's a Dell motherboard, likely designed by Intel with Dell's input.
