I 'd like to know how I could set a partition as active when the drive
is in the computer but do not boot

I know how to do it in XP computer manager , right click and set active

I can boot on a floppy or cd (with bart pe) and have command control ,
but I don t want to reformat ou create a new partition

Get mbrwiz from mbr.bigr.net. There is a DOS version, and the WinNT version runs under WinPE.

Just get a bootable dos floppy or CD with fdisk on it.

There's an entry in the menu that allows you to set a partition active.
