Recently I attempted to burn data to a DVD and the program glitched. Now
some of the WORD file names and EXCEL file names in My Documents are a blue
color while others are the standard black color. However, all files seem to
open normally. What happened and what can I do to get them to all be black
again?

"Blue" is an indication that the files are compressed in the NTFS file
system. If they were "encrypted" they would appear "Green". This has
nothing to do with Office, Word or Excel. In Windows Explorer, R-click
the files and select properties, advanced, and UNcheck the compress box.

If you need more info, open Windows Help and Support and look up
"compress file".
