to re-install it on it's origimal machine, no problems: I don't think
the CD is bad.) During installation, it says it can't copy some files,
hit escape to continue.

If you haven't yet tested stability with memtest86+ for
several hours ...

Stupid me, it's a dual memory channel mobo, I only had one channel
filled. It's loading fine right now. I did a repair and I saw it load
all the files it wouldn't.
"Set up will complete in approximately 7 minutes"..
Done!

But now, I need a password to get to a desktop. I didn't set a
password.
Do you know what to do here?

Why didn't it work in single channel mode? Hopefully you
did at least test it with memtest86+ before installing
windows, otherwise you may have file corruption causing
problems sooner or later.
