So here's my situation, maybe you can help me out?
I switched off my laptop with a Spiderman DVD in my disc drive and
when I went to turn it back on, the computer's resolution had
completely changed; it was at the most unfocused resolution possible.
So I went to the Control Panel to change the resolution in the
opposite direction, but that still stretched out my screen, just less
so. When I went back to try different resolutions, my cursor would
only move to two spots, the highest and the lowest pixels, nothing in
between. Any ideas as to how to fix this? My screen is stretched and
I'm not sure how to get it back to the way it was. |

Your description suggests that -- as the most likely cause -- the driver
for the video card has become uninstalled or needs to be reinstalled.
