OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer - marketted for companies to install
in PCs. Don't usually get pretty packaging, drivers etc.
Retail = Retail - meant to go in shops for ordinary people to buy. Comes in
a shiny box, with manuals and drivers. |

Other than the price I don't see any difference. Even the
descriptions are similiar.

Must've been one of those brain fart days, huh?
First drive: yeah it's a drive, spins faster (and noisier)
Second drive: Oooh, a pretty see-through window that gets
obstructed once you actually install the drive.
First 2 drives: OEM w/rebates
Second 2 drive: retail w/o rebates
Don't know what OEM means?
OEM = Original Equipment Manufacturer - marketted for companies to
install in PCs. Don't usually get pretty packaging, drivers etc.
Retail = Retail - meant to go in shops for ordinary people to buy.
Comes in a shiny box, with manuals and drivers.

Additionally, with regard to HDDs:
OEM, usually come with 1 year warranty
Retail, comes with up to 5 years warranty.
