Is it possible to use two monitors and TV out at the same time on the Radeon
X850XT? Currently I have two Envision EN7410e but I am unable to get them
both to work with the TV out. I have Cat 5.10 2D version 6.14.10.6575. Can
anyone recommend anything that would this? I have Hydrovision installed but
have not gotten familiar with all the settings.

TIA

I'm pretty sure it is limited to two outputs only, and the second can be

either monitor OR tv. .

Thanks. That was what I was afraid of. I was wondering if it might be
different if I used FPD which I assume means a digital monitor output. I
don't see the "FPD" listed anywhere in the help files but I do have a SONY
that I think is digital.

No. I'm not sure if any card can do 3 monitors.

It seems a bit confusing while seeing four options for outputs.

Thanks.

"Dual Head" vid cards can create two separate images that
can be made available to whatever displays you can attach to
them, BUT there are only the two images. You can supply
either one of the images to a number of displays. You can
supply one of the images to some displays and the other image
to different displays.

Some cards provide a number of output connection types to
allow for the different kinds of connections available, not so much
to provide for multiple displays. (Dual Head cards need at least
two outputs to function properly. Most early cards have a VGA
and a DVI, with two DVI becoming more common.)

"TV Out" is a slightly different animal, and not viewed as providing
a true replacement for a monitor when it comes to providing a
readable display for most computer functions. It can be used to
feed DVD and video file playback from the PC to your TV, though.

It *might* be possible to have a software player send its output
to the "TV out" (probably as a theater mode function) while using
the other connections to display two separate computer generated
images.

Of course, you can use a distribution amp to connect many displays
to one of the vid card's outputs, all displaying the same image.

Luck;
Ken
