Hi,

I have a computer built around the mainboard mentioned in the subject, a
GigaByte GA-8PE667 Ultra.

Recently, I noticed the green power-LED on the front of the housing is
steadily blinking while the machine is running. Frequence is about 1Hz,
perhaps a tiny bit faster.

The machine seems to be running ok otherwise. Googled around a bit, and
indications are this points towards something with the power-supply.

What exactly does this blinking power LED signify?

Thanks in advance,

Patrick.

Yes, I read that in the manual, but the machine was at that moment running
fine: XP and a game on top of it. It was not in stand-by mode.

It seems to have stopped by now, so perhaps the mainboard was a bit
confused or something; thinking it was in standby mode, while running...

Never had this before though, so I can't say I'm not worried. :-\

Regards,

Patrick.

Maybe you have it connected to the wrong header on the mobo.

I changed nothing.
