We've had several of these delivered in recent weeks, configured
with Vista, Intel video, and WXGA+ display. All suffer from the
same problem.

When coming out of SLEEP, resolution will often go to 1024x768.
It's not a big deal and only takes a mooment to return to the
normal 1440x900, but it shouldn't be necessary.

Dell eventually said "PC Restore", which returns the unit to the
state in which it was delivered. We did that with one unit, but
the problem persists. Dell then said "return it". We have a lot
of hours invested in loading apps and configuring these units,
and want to keep them.

Our experience is that the community is better at finding
solutions than the manufacturer. We looked at the Dell site and
see that a few others see the same problem.

Surely a new driver is forthcoming and it will solve the
problem, but until then does anyone here have a fix?

Thanks
