|
|
A friend picked up an Intel Core 2 Duo E6400 for 59 bucks at a compUSA that
was closing.
He decided against trying to build a box and sold it to me.
I want to know what the consensus is on the most stable board and chipset is
for that processor and what direction I should go with ram with THAT board
and processor combination. Also looking for a recommendation on a graphics
card.
I am not a gamer, don't need or anticipate ever needing or using SLI.
Overclocking is not something I am interested in at this point, though THAT
could change.
What kind of power supply do I need?
I do some graphics work with Photoshop and other smaller programs, and work
with FP, Dreamweaver more often along with some movie editing and audio
editing.
I want to build a stable and fast system, yet not go overboard piecewise.
Thanks |
