I am having stability problem at 2.7GHz when running SP Orthos 2004
after about 10 minutes.
FSB 1200MHz
FSB:Ram unlinked
Memory 667 MHz at 5-4-4-14
CPU temp.: 43 C before computer froze up |

Try lowering the multi to 8x and running the fsb at 333mhz |

I'll answer my own question, after three days of experimenting.
E4300 at 3.0GHz, 100% stable based on running SP Orthos for 24 hrs
straight while still doing regular computer uasage.
Bios Settings (other settings at motherboard default)
CPU Mulitplier - 9X
FSB - 1333MHz
Ram - 667MHz
Ram timing - 5-4-4-14
CPU voltage - 1.35
Ram voltage - 2.0
-BIOS ver. 401 (original bios)
-Max. CPU temp. 43 C (from ASUS Probe II)with Intel Cooler
-Put small fan on NB heatsink (heat sink seem pretty heat without fan)
I am very happy with the result.
May experiment more with ram speed and timing at some later day.
PS: I had problem with rams in memory slot A1 & A2. Windows crashes all
the time even without overclocking. Put ram in Slot B's and no more
crashes. So don't what's up with that. |

Try the memory in A1 and B1 for dual channel. That is the way my P5N32-E SLI
board works. Those are the 1st and 3rd slots from left to right.

My MB is P5N-E SLI not P5N32-E SLI. I am using dual channel 2 stick of
1GB Crucial Rendition DDR2 5300 in slots B1 & B2.
Does anyone have same problem with memory slots A1 & A2 on this MB?

Look at his subject line. The CPU cooler is likely the Intel cooler that
comes with E4300.
