Just one short question: The ASUS CPU compatibility list says the M2N-E
SLI works with the 5200+ and the 6000+. Is this list simply not up to
date or does that definitely exclude the 5400+ and the 5600+? Anybody
got the 5600+ running with this board?

Thanks!

Marcus

Yes, I run this board with AMD 6000. I warn you that the DVD-CD Rom
will not work with this setup, at least mine doesn't. I have run DiskMD,
and all my drivers are up to date.

PATA or SATA? Which one do you have or have you tried different
DVD-ROM-drives?

bye

I have LITE-ON DVDRW LH-2A1H ATA and IOMEGA ZIP on the IDE drive and two
SATA HDs. Everything works perfectly with WINXP, but these two devices do
not work with this board and Vista. I tried a Nec DVD Rom, but that doesn't
work either. Both work with Vista and ABN-SLI Premium on my other computer
but not on this board. I have looked around for a solution but haven't found
one yet, so I will re-install XP.
