This Vista Home Premium unit works well, with one exception.
When it comes out of standby, it goes to 1024x768 instead of
1440x900 (WSGA+). It is a consistent problem.
Obviously I can fix it in a minute in display properties or by
rebooting, but...

And the make and model is? And if you know the video card that would
help a bunch too.

Of course - sorry.
Vista Home Premium, Dell 640M laptop with core duo, 2GB RAM,
Mobil Intel 945GM video chipset (integrated).
Device data says everything's working fine, including drivers. |

Have not tried it; I set my computers to never go into any of the deep
power save modes, there have always been problems coming out of them,
going back forever.

Oh that would drive me nuts! I would fix it! The Microsoft Vista
newsgroup is probably the best place to look for answers.
