Anyone know of a somewhat current nvidia video card that will work in
an agp 2x/4x slot? I have an ABIT KR7A-RAID Motherboard. Any info
would be appreciated.

These two cards represent the fastest AGP cards available today:

XFX 7950GT AGP:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814150223

ATi/ Gecube Radeon X1950XTX AGP:
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814241049

Make sure your motherboard can do AGP 4x reliably (not all VIA-based boards
can) before buying either card.

Hi,

Do You have any idea which VIA-chipsets may cause problems?

Thanks in advance!
Yours sincerely,
Rene

All of them. :-) Apollo Pro 133, KT133, KT266, KT333...

Newer boards like those with the K8T800 chipset can have trouble doing AGP
8x.

The ones I know of don't have problem with the AgP rate (1,2,4,8x), but
they do have some random video bios incompatibility and northbridge
chipset issues with video, as well as fast-write compatibility. Namely
the KT133A, KT333 and some VIA Intel boards from the early P4's.
