I have a Dell 1150 laptop. did a restore and now the usb ports dont work. I tried to undo the restore but it still wont work. I tried reformatt and still nothing. Please help.

Did you happen to install the chipset drivers after reformatting?

That chipset should include the drivers for the USB controller. Are there any question marks in the device manager?
