I'm trying to set up a security camera and am looking for software that
will do the following.

Upload images to my website every 2 to 5 minutes. I will be using dialup so
do not have a lot of network speed.
I would like to be able to retain some history on the site. Eg the last 5
images, Perhaps also hourly, daily or even weekly images. The S/W should be
able to handle more than 1 webcam for the future expansion. This will be
unattended and also used to check weather conditions.

Most S/W I have checked appears to be set up for high-speed connections.
I'm not looking for anything fancy. I'm almost at the point of trying to
write the code myself.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

little occassional advertising.

VisionGS PE and it's commercial cousin (BE) has been around for a long
time. I used to use it about 5 years ago. It is very stable, doesn't use
much in the way of resources, and will quite happily run for days/weeks
on end without giving you any trouble. As you say, there is a little bit
of random advertising for the visionGS webpage that appears as an image
caption every now and then, but it isn't overly obtrusive if you also
run a date/time stamp or something similar as a caption. It simply
replaces it on an image every now and then. Evidently the 'paid' version
doesn't do it.
