I have installed both FireFox and Internet Exlplorer 7 and select one or the
other based on compatibility wit other programs.
I can copy and paste in FireFox but in IE7 there is no drop down menu when
I right click on a highlighted text.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. Thanks.

I would say that my IE7 is definitely "Horked". I could not uninstall it
..During the uninstall process, an error message appeared saying" coulld not
copy files". When I cancelled the uninstall, IE7 no longer worked and I had
to do a restore.
Thanks for the suggestions anyway.

You may have a horked install of IE7. I suggest that you...

1. Uninstall IE7 (which automatically returns you to IE6) per
http://www.ie-vista.com/kbase2.html

2. Uninstall all toolbars

3. Reinstall IE7 per http://www.ie-vista.com/known_issues.html#pre-install,
and using http://www.microsoft.com/windows/ie/default.mspx as the
installation source, not Automatic/Windows Update.
