i'm just trying to look up some FCC IDs (purely for the sake of being
able to!!) Not for any specific product I have.

A load are here

Linksys PCMCIA
WPC54GS
FCC ID# Q87-WPC54GV12


Compaq WL110 Wireless PC Card
FFC ID: IMRWLPCE24H

Try going here,
https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/cf/eas/reports/GenericSearch.cfm
Then entering the IMR as Grantee Code, WLPCE24H as Product
Code. I got hits with that, but not with the Linksys card.

Entering only the Grantee Code of Q87 you can browse through
what they have and find it,
https://gullfoss2.fcc.gov/prod/oet/cf/eas/reports/ViewExhibitReport.cfm?mode=Exhibits&RequestTimeout=500&calledFromFrame=N&application_id=399957&fcc_id='Q87-WPC54GV12'
which makes it look like their search engine is broken
somehow as even rechecking, searching again it still can't
find that part # it lists but my link does.

thanks, your link/search box works.. I think the link / search box I
was using was just for some web articles. Not technical info on
products. Bad really, since I googled FCC ID search.
