|
|
I bother them to see if someone can help me to solve my disadvantage.
The problem is the following one, I need to realize configurations of
Hardware and software SUN microsystem and do not find way of doing it.
I that for IBM for example exists and - config, for SUN does it exist
slightly similarly?
If it exists, wherefrom I can obtain it?
>From already thank you very much and I wait could help me... |

Are you talking about printing configuration information within Solaris?
You could use: prtconf or prtconf -v
To see what's in the machine type: prtdiag or prtdiag -v

Please write in some kind of understandable english. What does "I that
for IBM for example exists and - config," mean? Do you say that IBM (I
suppose you mean AIX) has a command "config" that gives you the
information you are looking for? If so, give us a link to that man page,
and we can help you with what is the closest in Solaris. In the mean
while, have a look at this:

PS. I know that my english is not all that good but at least
understandable (or???). |

I too am rather confused about the question. By IBM do you mean AIX
and by seeing the configuration do you mean smit? Are you trying to
see what hardware/software you have in the machine? |
