|
|
Have already resigned myself overpaying for the convenience of print
cartridge. What I did not bargain for was the mandatory visit to the
retailer who has a monopoly on my cartridge and will not ship the item
to my house. I most certainly will not buy anything from Circuit City
during those mandatory visits or perhaps ever again.
Are there substitutes that are available by mail-order?

Target sells some Lexmark cartridges, but I don't remember a 2. They do
have the 20. Their list prices are slightly better than office supply
stores but I'd check the weekly ad for the occasional sale, typically 10%
off list.
If you are not Office Max-phobic they will refill Lexmark carts at about
an $8-$10 savings, but I don't know about ink quality.

It is not worth buying anything for a Lexmark. You can get (on sale and
with rebate) a Canon IP4300 for about $59.95 that is so much better than
a Lexmark and you can get the ink any place even on line. Just ask for
OEM Factory ink so you do not ruin the printer and get the best results.
