I am currently using SBC/Yahoo DSL internet service with their 2Wire wireless modem. I currently have 1 PC connected, 1 PC wireless and 2 laptops wirelessly connected. I have a Brother 2070N Laser Printer that I want to hook up. I want to be able to print from any computer at anytime. But I'm thick as a brick and don't understand how to connect the printer. The modem & printer do have ethernet, which I assume is how they connect. But my printer manuel talks about Peer-to-peer (LPR), peer-to-peer (netbios and networked shared). Again, all I want to be able to do is use any compter/laptop and print.

Thanks.

And any tips for a good wirless router? I maight be swithing to Comcast Broadband and will need to print from my wireless connection.

If you still need help:

You can connect the printer 'normally' (ie USB) to one of your computers if you want to. Then share it from Start>Control Panel>Hardware>Printers. If you really want it separate from your other computers, you will need to buy a switch (or plug it into the modem if you have free ports). The switch simply acts as a splitter so that you can plug both your wired PC and the wire from the printer in at the same time (and will probably have 2 or 3 more ports to spare).

Good luck!
