I think i scr**ed up and don't know how.
a system i got from a friend a while ago had a bad hard drive.
i bought a new one 160g that connects through the sata cable
at first it recognized it in the start up but i couldnt get my windows to install since i guess i payed 180$ for a flippen upgrade disk instead full version os.
and dont own an old v. of windows
tried hooking up a very old 40g hard drive thinking i can install over that then go from there but it wouldnt recognize the 40g hd. checked the web and read a post on a site that told me to reset bios config and now of course not only didnt work but i no longer see my 160g hd.
any suggestions....? |
