I think I have it narrowed down to Canon 2580c and Xerox Documate 262. I have read all the reviews I could find about these scanners. Which one should I buy? Or should I consider something else?

It will come down to how much you want to spend and what your needs are for a scanner.
Such as, how often do you plan to scan items?
What types of items will have the need to scan (documents, photos, etc.)?
Additionally, what scan quality in resolution do you require?
