I have been given a USB PC camera CU68R. I downloaded a driver for it,
installed it. (running on a Win 98SE pc)
How can I test that the camera is working? |

Do a google search for the free microsoft vidcap32.exe and use
it to test your cam. |

Or download and install just about any video capturing program. Then look
under the program's options menu (Or whatever it's called for the program
you use) for a list of available devices.
If your cam is listed, then the driver is working. :)
Hope this helps :D

A Number One MAKE SURE YOU HAVE GOOD CODECS
usually installing divX-Pro helps most people...
must be a hundred codec sites like free-codecs.com
Run media player classic.
"file --> open device"
select "view --> capture" and set the mode to I420 mode
and set all the resolutions and codecs (for encoding make
sure you know the codec or you may have errors)
now you can go back up to the menu and play the
filter for the CAM or the Codec and set contrast
properly and pan /zoom |
