This brand-new Canon iP4200 is otherwise excellent, but on the driver's
"Maintenance" tab, clicking any of the last 3 buttons (AutoPower, Quiet Mode,
and Custom Settings) goes to a dialog with ALL of its choices grayed-out.
Any idea why? For now I'm only looking to check out the Quiet Mode feature, but
I'd love to know why anything's disabled here. It does sound like a
Permissions issue, but I'm the Administrator (and only user) of this PC.
Grateful for any clues.

Those options are only available from the "main" printer control menu,
and are greyed out if you access them from the application's print
dialog box. |
