I upgraded my PC to Windows Vista Home. Then Windows media player
wouldn't play DIVX movies. I downloaded the latest DIVX codec
available, (I think) but I guess it is not Vista compatible....a DIVX
movie will now play, but there is no sound. I am hoping there is
maybe a newer one out now that is compatible. |

Divx is a video codec, not sound, necessarily. Figure out
what audio codec it needs and install that along with the
Divx /video/ codec, if you want sound in addition to video. |

The latest DivX works fine here. I just installed the CODEC though and |
not the player.
