Hi
I have a problem in my compaq 3000 presario laptop.
My screen has gone blank and it did not display anything. But the
system is working fine and i can see very light monitor display. very
very light.
Can any one tell me how to bring back to its original display.

hook up an external monitor to the VGA port. If that display looks OK, one
of 3 things is wrong:
1. The LCD panel is bad
2. The inverter board is bad
3. The backlight is burned out.
It would be best to let a pro troubleshoot to find out which one is the
culprit.

I always check the easy stuff first.
Does your laptop have buttons to alter the screen brightness or
contrast?
If it has, make sure they/it have not been altered by mistake. |
