Windows would not boot up, it said
windows could not start because the following file is missing or
corrupt:
<windows root>\system32\ntos krnl.exe
please reinstall the copy of the above file

I tried to go into bios, but my ps/2 keyboard wasn't working. I reset
the CMOS, but now it says my CMOS was reset, I need to hit F9 to go
into BIOS. However, my keyboard still doesn't work - it works on
other computers, just not on this one. USB keyboard also doesn't
work.

Any way to repair this, or is it time for a new motherboard?

Does any light show up on the keyboard... if not then the 5V supply on
the PS2 keyboard connector 'may' be duff... same with the USB
connector's they use a 5V supply...

...you don't say anything about the keyboard light's showing up, this
is a good clue to start with.
