|
|
My laptop performance has slowed considerably from when it was new.
Recently with some good advice I've been able to improve it's performance using
relatively simple fixes e.g CCleaner, Defrag, DiskCheck & Registry fixes.
During my quest for improved performance I've noticed that my
70Gb of HD is split between two 35Gb HD's ( ACER C: & ACERDATA D: )
Nothing ever seems to be used on my D:/ as there is always 99%
available, is it possible to take some of this 35Gb which doesn't ever
appear to be used and give it to my C:/ ???
I'm a relative novice at all this and this is my first laptop, I'm hoping
that if i split the total memory more in favour of my c:/ that maybe
i'll get better/faster performance ???
Any advice would be appreciated |

a programme called partition magic should do this for you really easily not much else i can add other than it will resize the drives on the fly for you _________________ -------------------------

Got my hands on Norton Symantec Partition Magic and have
solved my little problem by moving the partition between
my c: and d: drives. Now i've got bags of space on my c:/
Thanks very much to nemesis_tfc for his great advice |
