What is multiple image scan?
What is single image scan?

The following is a spec from HP.
HP Scanjet G4050 Photo Scanner
Task speed: 4 x 6-in (10 x 15 cm) color photo to file (200 dpi, 24-bit,
TIFF):
about 11 sec for multiple image scan, about 30 sec for single image scan.

Can seem to find anything on google/yahoo/msn search.
thanks,
J E

A single image scan is when you place one picture on the
scanner's glass and scan it. A multiple image scan is when you place
several pictures on the scanner's glass, the scanner goes from picture
to picture, scanning each one individually, all in one process. Using
this allows you to scan numerous pictures without having to scan each
picture, one at a time.

Ckeck that, in multiple image scan, the scanner does one scan,
and separates the pictures into individual files with software.
