nemisis_tfc can you help me with this one: I bought a great laptop from Dell recently, and it came with a free 725 printer. This printer is THE WORST PIECE OF CRAP I HAVE EVER LAID MY EYES ON! angry mad It does not print in black ink period. Even Dell Suport said so. What good is a printer that doesn't print in black ink??? I guess I shouldn't have expected much out of something free, but yet I never dreamed Dell would ever do something this stupid. Over the years I have purchased (or helped purchase) for myself, extended family, and friends 11 Dell computers, and I will never buy another. disgusted

Cheers!

Dell printers are really Lexmarks with a Dell badge... and
Lexmark cartridges with a Dell chip making them usable only in Dell..?

The Dell 725 received a terrible write up from customers at Amazon.com.. See-:

Trouble is with Lexmark it's cheaper buying a new printer instead of a set of cartridges.. !

I prefer Canon myself at least unlike Epson you don't 'run out' with ink still left in the tanks, for some interesting reading see-:

I've had an HP for a long time and have had no troubles. I think I will look into Canon and Epson now.
