I must buy a computer for a customer with connection to a Tandberg LTO
(internal). I know that I can buy an Adaptec 29160, but are there good
alternatives, which are cheaper (the Adaptec is about 280 ¤!).

I forgot: OS is Win XP Prof. SP2.

hi ,
i can only advice you the 39160 which is a superb hba and should be
availlable for < 100.-euro . i bought mine brandnew as a bulk-version 2
years ago for 65.- as fixed-price on eb.. .
