|
|
Hi,
recently I bought a used Tyan S2460.
I understand that it will only run with registered DDR-RAMs.
My question: Do I really have to get PC2100 ones (these are hard to get
these days) or will (underclocked) PC3200 work, too?
I'd like to get 2x 512MB working...
Kind regards,
Herwig |

Considering that Crucial only sell 2700+ to work with the s2460 and certify
it with a lifetime warrenty, I think it's safe to work on the theory that
PC3200 will also work, when underclocked. Most memory will work when
running slower than specified. |
