Blank, I have a problem with a Acer to aspire 5601. Practically it has a
slow start. I have restored the system with the restoration disc and has
worked well until little days ago. I have extinguished and to the riavvio
newly slow. I pray to you you help me. And excused the translation. |

Malware and programs in the startup axis could be the cause of your problem.
Update your antivirus definitions and do a complete system scan. See

The antivirus Norton has been always dawned and many times over launch. I
have carried out a control with A-Aware no suspicion of infection. I have
carried out one scandisc no error of the disc. I have restored the original
system of portable and the problem to scompare for some weeks. I have
already written in a newsgroup microsoft, but they have not known to help
me. I have called to the Acer, but they have not known to help me. They are
remained single with my problem. I accept any council, you help me.

It may be a program that runs when you boot the system. You can get a
process monitor such as the one at Sysinternals to see what programs are
running when you start the computer.

Compare it to a list such as CastleCops to see which ones can be disabled,
be careful not to disable a necessary program!

If you bootup with the minimum number of programs it will show if this is
true.

I do not know if it is the same thing, but have tried to eliminate the
programs in automatic execution with the commando msconfig, but also with
this system the start is slow. there is this link in Italian?
