|
|
Hi all! I've got a Conceptronic 56K USB Modem installed on a Windows
2003 server system in Malta. When I call the phone number attached to
the modem, the device rings but doesn't respond to the call. I've
tried all kind of configurations possible (first of all S0 register
configured for auto answering after 1 ring) but it doesn't works.
Notice that the same modem that I've installed in Malta, was tested
before in Italy and it works great!
This problem is killing me!
Thank you for you help |

Hello Andrea,
when you dial that number in Malta from your normal phone: Do you hear
the modem tones from the other side?
Is that modem in Malta connected to an ISDN terminal adapter or to an
ISDN PABX? Is this number correctly configured to the correct ISDN
service?

OK, S0=1, but what about EIA signal DTR ?? Is it held high by |
server/software, or set high by AT&D0 |
