This PS is ATX2.2 and EPS12V "Compatible" while the Tyan website for these motherboards states that an ATX 2.X PS will damage these boards and
that the K8W (and K8WE) boards require an EPS12V (24+8pin) power supply.

Will this PS work with either a 2885 or 2985? The tyan website is woefully lacking in it's compatibility listing of power supplies.

Thanks -

John

Ihave had good luck with that PSU.

I am runnig the same PSU in a 2892, Dual 252's with 8 hard drives, DVD Rom,
Floppy and a USB extermal drive. I also use the same PSU in a 2875 Dual
850's. Both run flawlessly (knock on wood).

I am running all IDE drives no SCSI. I use a 3Ware card with 6 drive Raid5
config.

Just my thoughts. Good luck.

Thanks - That's what I was looking for.

The Antec is to replace a suspect Enermax PSU in a 2885 board or go into a new 2895 board (both running 2 x 252s).

Thanks again -

John
