I have a WinXP x64 and I bought this little camera a couple o' days
ago and went straight home to install it.

Mid-way through the installation it gives me this error message saying
that it doesn't work with 64-bit. Fine.

I got to the Logitech website, and downloaded a WinXP x64 driver
(about 80MB or so).

Installed it, everything seemed o.k. but wait... what happened to the
sound? All the sounds of my computer (including shut down and start-
up) sound blurry. I've tried playing an audio file in various players
and the sound sounds in slow motion. Very strange.

Eventually, I uninstalled the driver completely, and installed it
again but this time - I chose only to install drives (and not the
entire software). And where does it all get me?

I now have a webcam that works, but I have none of the cool features
of the pro 5000 (face tracking, avatar etc.).

Does anyone, anyone have an idea what this problem is all about?

I'm at a loss here. Please help.

Thanks,

Joe R.

The problem is with the driver *AND* cam. Basically put, you've got a
webcam which your system isn't capable of handling. This is indicative of
many older computers that you would typically find either in a used computer
shop or online on eBay somewhere.

Do you have another webcam you can compare with?

Hope this helps :D

Cheers :D

Do you even know what XP64 is?
The correct answer would be to request that Logitech release
a 64 bit version of their software.
