Getting this almost every time I boot up, but the battery is fresh, reset
jumper in correct position. I've reset and re-flashed bios, but problem
persists.

Sometimes it boots without the error but the clock and/or date is wrong.

Any ideas?

I remembered I have a freshly-installed Nero on another computer, so I was
able to check the default settings. Seems to me most applications have
buttons for setting defaults. But apparently the designers of Nero think all
their customers are geeks.
