What is a good substitute for Hyperterminal? I can't get it to go 7E1
on one of my XP laptops. Hyperterminal works well on some of my older
machines; win 3.11, but these machines are getting long in the tooth.

Bill:

If the terminal application in windows 3.11 (TERMINAL.EXE???) does
what you need you might try running it in XP. Worth a try anyhow.
