I am having problems putting RAM into my extra memory slot. I don't want to press too hard and break the chip. I can interchange in the first slot just fine.
Has anyone had this problem? |

Are you absolutely sure that you have the exact type of RAM that your computer can take? Make sure that what was in the package is the same as what was supposed to be in the package (especially if you bought it online).

I'm sure it's correct because what I bought is currently working in the first slot. I am unable to move my old RAM to the second slot. Neither works in the second.
