What does the "Acer Preload Security Patch for Windows XP" actually do.
I've read the explanation and don't know what it means.

I've disabled or uninstalled all of the Acer xManagers. I'd rather not
patch something if I don't use it anyway.

Basically every acer that comes preloaded has an activexp control that
means any website can run any program on your computer.

Massive security bug - amazed theres not loads of viruses killing off
all acers.

Its not - its a bug in all acer factory basic installs.
