Hi,

I have Tyan S3970 motherboard which supports raid5. I have set RAID5 on
3 SATA Seagate Baracudas, and now I want to install newest stable
Ubuntu (6.06, server edition)

It seems that ubuntu doesn't support this motherboard's raid drivers
because system hangs up when trying to install ubuntu. I boot from
Ubuntu CD, choose to set up os, then manually add some address (eth0
and so on) and then system crashes.

Could you tell me how/if I could set ubuntu on this motherboard's RAID5
?

thanks
