Hi all,
The ABIT box is still solid and last I checked the caps were ok too.
It is configured with 2 HDDs and 2 Opticals on the main channels and 3
HDDs on the HPT.

Swapped out the 20GB slave on the system drive with an 80GB. After I
rebooted, the newly installed 80GB (Dsmile was now showing the contents
of an 80GB (Gsmile on IDE4 of the HPT controller. You could look through
directories and open files just as if you were actually looking at
(Gsmile Both are WD800JB's and (Gsmile is pinned as a single drive.

I switched the original drive back in without changing anything else,
rebooted, and things were back to normal.

Can someone tell me why this drive is not being seen separately?
