I just installed Vista Home Premium on my MX3414 and for some reason can not get sound. I check the device manager and it shows that I have a driver installed for SigmaTel HD Audio codec. But the system says no audio or output device installed. Is there an updated driver for vista out there?

Hey, Vista isn't even officially shipping yet! And when it does, you can
expect that there will be missing drivers for all manner of devices, some of
which are destined to become orphans for lack of Vista software. Or you can
continue using XP... Ben Myers

Not to mention peripherals. When Windows XP first came out I had to junk a
perfectly good scanner because XP did not support parallel port scanners.
Who knows what will have to be sacrificed for Vista--my router? One of my
printers? My modem? My TV tuner? One of my DVD drives? One of my external
hard drives? (Or it might not sync with my PDA, or one of the kid's mp3
players.) I am waiting until the dust settles before I jump on the Vista
bandwagon--like maybe the next computer I buy--it will already be installed.
I am not shelling out $159 X 5 for a new operating system when I have
WindowsXP working fine on our five networked computers.
