While shutting down a V480 (solaris 9) I got the error
cpu-red state exception reset recovery
which I understand is a CPU problem. I ran test-all @ the ok prompt, now
the machine displays this when booting.
WARNING: Device /pci@9,700000/ebus@1/rsc-control@1,3062f8 being marked with
'status' == fail
WARNING: Device /pci@8,600000/SUNW,qlc@2 being marked with 'status' == fail
WARNING: Device /pci@8,600000/SUNW,qlc@1 being marked with 'status' == fail
Rebooting with command: boot -s
Boot device: /pci@9,600000/SUNW,qlc@2/fp@0,0/disk@0,0 File and args: -s
I will be logging a call to Sun on 22-jan; where in the openboot
interface are these devices marked bad? I am sure these devices are not
bad, but were marked bad as part of the test-all. |
